penelope & olivia

This was a great shoot, a bit spontaneous. We just threw my neice nad daughter in the car and headed to the docks. They did really well, but were more interested in the water, which was a bit scary. But the pictures turned out great, and they just looled like little angels. Although they did keep moving around so I lost focus and my light kept changing but it was very fun. The first photo is one of my favorites and, of course, the last was was classic.

While my niece was visiting she got to go to ballet with my daughter. They absolutly loved it. Great place to photograph, the whole opposite wall is a glass window, would make a great photography studio. I barely touched these photos. Nothing cuter than a couple of ballerinas. Just wish I could take out some of the black metal support for the bar, a little distracting. Love the interaction and play in the last photo.

studio

My friend, Aynn, and I put together a studio in my garage and her are some of our test shots. The lighting is pretty ancient, vintage stuff, doesn't allow for much adjusting besides moving it around. But it's really fun to play with.

workshop

I had so much fun at this Workshop and I learned a lot. The models were way fun to work with, really easy going and real sweet. The Workshop was held at Kristyn's house, and we just shot anywhere we wanted with whichever models. Her house was amazing, so it was a lot of fun to use. I learned so much from Kristyn and Maggie, it was a great experience. I absolutely love my new camera, it's fabulous! Thanks to my husband for making all this possible. I am really excited about getting back into photography and getting serious with it.
