Here are some of my favorite shots from a trip out to Lake Michigan of my kids. It was a fun quick shot, because Penelope was dying to play in the water. We had so much fun there. It was middle of the day so lighting was tricky, But it was fun!

This little guy was awesome. I can't believe how many smiles I got out of him. He did so well, he was just a trooper, and his Mom was a great help. I absolutely love the the pictures of him sucking his thumb, they make me want to hold and cuddle him. I just love how they all turned out.

I love shooting this family. And we got to have Rags the dog along for the photo shoot as well. He is such a great dog, I love having him for a neighbor, and his owners, of course. He was funny though, Rags definetly had a 'Marley moment' jumping into the pond after some ducks during the shoot, wish I got some shots of that. These guys were troopers, we were attacked by mosquitos, they have been crazy this summer, and Wendy treking through the ridiculously tall grass to get to the tracks, you are awesome. I hope it was worth it. In editing I had some fun with vintage and texture. I love how the first image came out, post processing. Before I touched it, I didn't like the image at all, and I was like, "Natalie what were you thinking?" with location and compostion, but I love it now. One thing I learned from this one, I want a new lens and bring bug spray!!
