penelope & harrison : fall

Trying to figure out best way to do studio pics, I set this up in my sun room. It was ok until it just got too sunny and you can see the bright sunlight on the paper. Humph. Need a diffuser...well I could use a studio. But overall I love these, I still need to do more of Penelope. On the day I did the Superman pics by the time Penelope came home from school we lost all the light. It was a Saturday that tried the ones of them in their sport uniform and lighting was ok until the end when I did Penelope, it was too bright. We'll see what I try next.

I did these in July on our trip down to the Otter Banks in North Carolina, love it down there, so beautiful!! We can't wait to go back.

penelope & harrison: spring

I did these last spring just in our yard. I love them! But sadly I lost the high res files in my computer crash but luckily had posted these on my family blog! Top one is my favorite! And the ones in the tree turned out to be pretty fun. I had wanted photos of them with the cherry blossoms in DC, but the next time we made it up to DC after doing the Thorn's photos there had been a storm and blew all the blossoms away. A few weeks later this tree in our front yard bloomed. What a pleasant surprise since we moved in October I had no idea it would.

I did these awhile ago up in Alexandria. It was fun, there is a ton of fun buildings there but it's all very tight and busy. But still got some fun shots. I love the matching ties she made, so fun!! They really looked great. TH eonly sad thing about this shoot was this is when my computer crashed and I lost everything, all my photos, all my photoshop actions and presets and logos and graphics and just everything. This was back in May, I have slowly recovered some things or created things from scratch. I am still hoping to recover all my photos off our corrupted hard drives. one day.
